My Lunch

Tip of the Day
Don’t overwork your body. Listen to it. When you are so sore it hurts to walk, give yourself one or two days to rest, then jump back into your workout routine. It’s important to let your body rest because then you’ll have more effective workouts since you’ll be able to push yourself more.

My Workout Yesterday
Yesterday I had a 3 and half hour practice. Normally, it’s only 2 hours. We had to do conditioning for more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. We did sprints in the street, squats, lunges, jumps, v-ups, push-ups, crunches, and so so more much! I’m pretty dang sore right now. I hate conditioning, but I love it at the same time.

Drink a glass of water before every meal, and you’ll eat less but still be satisfied. I know you’ve heard “Drink 8 glasses of water a day, blah blah blah”. However, it reeeaaallly is good for you. Water helps cleanse your body, and have a flat tummy. So drink your water.

Get your sleep at night! 8-9 hours is perfect. If you don’t you’re more likely to crave sugary foods, because your body will be tired and want a quick pick me up. So the more you sleep, the more energy you’ll have so you won’t be as hungry.
I'm Not a Calorie Counter
I’ve been on diets. I’ve counted calories. It’s not fun. I counted the calories of my lunch today, and let’s just say it was an arduous task. I finished all of my snack, but I didn’t eat my blueberry yogurt and I had like only 4 bites of my apple that I packed for lunch. I love apples, but the one I had kinda tasted like applesauce. I hate the texture of applesauce, it’s so yuckkkyy. So I tossed it. I like my apples to be crisp, and juicy. The best type of apple is Honeycrisp for sure.
